Smart? move

So we FINALLY got smart phones...high 5-up high, high 5-down low,-fist bump!! oh ya! (DW) 
Next you might find me on Facebook-yikes!!  The thing is...I admitted I get "captured by the unimportant" very easily, so tell me!!  How do you have all this at your fingertips and not stare at it all day long????  I don't want my boys to see me doing the very thing I ask them not to do!!  suggestions??  after all, when I first discovered Pinterest, this was me.....

    Ha! Can't help you here because I still don't have a smart phone, still don't text & still not on FB. Guess I'm stuck in the olden days! :)
